Nora came running into the synagogue with such joy. She was definitely ready for her special day. I was thrilled when I saw how beautiful she looked in her flowing baby blue dress; a perfect match for the stained glass windows and the golden hues of the sanctuary!
Nora and her father practiced for a special prayer they would sing during the Bat Mitzvah service. 
The Party: Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield, MA
Nora and her camp friends had fun posing with statues of the Basketball Hall-of-Famers.
Brother Nathan gave a special toast...sharing one of his first memories of Nora when she was 6 months old. (Hint: it had something to do with his holding her up over his head. Guess what happened then...)
Nora's father Byron graciously thanked both of Nora's grandmothers for their loving kindness to Nora and both of her brothers.THE HORAH!!!
During the Candlelighting Service Nora invited all of her friends to join her in lighting a Friendship Candle.
After dinner the museum upstairs was open for viewing and some games. Kids and adults alike joined in for the education and fun.
No Bat Mitzvah celebration is complete without a good ol' game of Coke and Pepsi. The competition was stiff and the players took the game very seriously.
The night was filled with music, dancing, laughter and lots of FUN!!!
