Custom-designed Holiday Cards
I LOVE personalized holiday cards, in fact those who have known me for years know that I have an almost obsession with sending out holiday cards. It is the one time of year that I reach out to almost everyone I know to send LOVE and my best for them to have a glorious Holiday Season and a very happy, healthy and properous New Year. (It's also a way for me to show how incredibly beautiful my children and pets are, and of course to showcase how well I am aging...'knock-on-wood.")
I love to incorporate my portrait photography into holiday card designs. Following are some examples of cards I have made for myself, and clients, from years past.

Nora's Bat Mitzvah
November 15, 2008 Congregation Beth Israel
Nora came running into the synagogue with such joy. She was definitely ready for her special day. I was thrilled when I saw how beautiful she looked in her flowing baby blue dress; a perfect match for the stained glass windows and the golden hues of the sanctuary!
Nora and her father practiced for a special prayer they would sing during the Bat Mitzvah service. The Party: Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield, MA
Nora and her camp friends had fun posing with statues of the Basketball Hall-of-Famers.
Brother Nathan gave a special toast...sharing one of his first memories of Nora when she was 6 months old. (Hint: it had something to do with his holding her up over his head. Guess what happened then...)Nora's father Byron graciously thanked both of Nora's grandmothers for their loving kindness to Nora and both of her brothers.
THE HORAH!!!
During the Candlelighting Service Nora invited all of her friends to join her in lighting a Friendship Candle.
After dinner the museum upstairs was open for viewing and some games. Kids and adults alike joined in for the education and fun.No Bat Mitzvah celebration is complete without a good ol' game of Coke and Pepsi. The competition was stiff and the players took the game very seriously.
The night was filled with music, dancing, laughter and lots of FUN!!!

Andrew's Bar Mitzvah
November 1, 2008
Documenting this special day for the Ziplow Family began in the afternoon with family portraits at Tumblebrook Country Club. Andrew was calm, confident and very cooperative as he posed for many variations of family photos. One thing I remembered quickly about this family: they are full of humor, practical jokes and good 0ld-fashioned FUN.
At the end of the portrait session we went outside onto the golf course for a few minutes. Andrew took off his jacket and got some fresh air before heading off to Beth El for his Havdalah Bar Mitzvah Service.
The dining room was decorated elegantly with Super Heroes as the theme of the celebration.A variety of colorful martinis awaited the guests as they arrived. Andrew and his friends arrived by bus (above). Rhonda, Jill and Linda were thoroughly ready to PARTY...and everyone else was too!
The guests gave Andrew a standing ovation as he was introduced as a Bar Mitzvah.
Moments from the Motzi and Candlelighting Service......
The Horah followed the Candlelighting, and then it was dining, dancing and lots of FUN all night long....
